The structure of the car carrier is generally divided into the lower chassis, upper chassis, side panels, front panels, rear doors, top panels, accessories, hydraulic systems, suspension systems, air brake systems, circuit systems, support devices, wheel hub cooling systems, etc.
Due to the restrictions on the vehicle’s outer dimensions in national standards, the outer dimensions of the car carrier announced by our company are generally smaller, while the outer dimensions of the actual produced vehicles are larger, and the front overhang, wheelbase, and rear overhang are inconsistent with the announcement. Please pay attention when signing the contract. In addition, in order to facilitate the entry of vehicles, the car carrier is usually designed into 3 sections in the length direction. The middle section can be removed, and the front and rear sections are connected to ensure that the total length meets the announced dimensions.
The car carrier is a double-layer loading platform structure. The upper loading platform can be lifted up and down under the action of the lifting device to facilitate loading. The lifting device is configured according to different needs and can be divided into three types: hydraulic cylinder direct lifting, pulley wire rope pulling lifting, and hand winch hanging.
For double-axle single-tire car carriers, there are 1 manual springboard on each side at the gooseneck step at the front end of the lower chassis, and a ladder and a climbing ladder are designed at the rear end. A ladder is designed at the rear end of the upper chassis.
For double-axle double-tire car carriers, there are 1 manual springboard on each side at the gooseneck step at the front end of the lower chassis, a movable frame for oil cylinder lifting is designed in front of the rear axle, and 1 manual springboard on each side is designed behind the rear axle, and a ladder and a climbing ladder are designed at the rear end. A ladder is designed at the rear end of the upper chassis.
About chassis cover. The standard configuration of the lower chassis is to include a cover in the middle, t1.5; under the traction pin (tractor tire) and the perforated plate at the rear axle, the cover is t1. The rest of the lower chassis and upper chassis are not covered.
To prevent the upper chassis from jumping, a rope tightener is provided to hold the upper chassis and the lower chassis.
